Another in the long line of places from which I have had multiple takeaways but only now (this year, at least) have actually made it to. This is a last minute surprise - the blurb for Mrs Pott’s Chocolate House’s Pudding Club event suggests it will finish at 10pm, but here Rav and I are just before 9 and ready to go - it’s a lovely evening, Pizzarova is just down the hill, well why not. We amble down, knowing we might be cutting last orders a bit fine but slip in under the wire. I go for my classic, a margarita pizza with chorizo vela and parmesan, but this time not the extra mozzarella that I might otherwise get if taking away (Rav is very kindly paying, as I got Pudding Club, so I’m not going to drag that out of her). I grab a sweet roasted garlic dip, though, my favourite of their offerings. It is, of course, delicious - Pizzarova is an absolute favourite for pizza in Bristol these days, and it is obviously no different in the restaurant than at home. But still I refuse to account for takeaways in these entries. I think you need the whole experience, but I’m aware this is irrational. Oh well.
